Indian Veterinary Research Institute Conducting Walk-in-interview for the following posts :

1) Senior Research Fellow

Qualification : Essential : M. V. Sc./ Ph. D (Animal Genetics/ Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Biochemistry/ Veterinary Microbiology) or M. Sc. / Ph.D. (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/Bioinformatics).
Desirable : Working knowledge of Molecular Biology Techniques (DNA/RNA
isolation, Cloning, Southern, Northern, Western blotting, Genomic and or cDNA library screening, ELISA, Bacterial culture, transformation, Real Time PCR and other relevant techniques) evident ONLY through dissertation work/ research publication.

Pay Scale : Rs. 16000/- per month (I & II yr) & Rs. 18000/- per month (III yr and onwards)

Age limit : 35 years

2) Research Associate

Qualification : Essential : M. V. Sc./Ph. D (Animal Genetics & Breeding/ Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Biochemistry/ Veterinary Physiology) or M. Sc. / Ph.D. (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry).

Desirable : Working knowledge of Molecular Biology Techniques (DNA/RNA
isolation, Cloning, Southern, Northern, Western blotting, Genomic and or cDNA library screening, ELISA, Bacterial culture, transformation, Real Time PCR and other relevant techniques) evident ONLY through dissertation work/ research publication.

Pay Scale : Rs. 23000/- and Rs 24000 per month for Masters and Ph. D degree holders. HRA admissible @ 20% as per ICAR norm.

Age limit : 35 years
