Name of the post – Scientist Trainee
No. of Vacancies – 20
Age limit – Applicants’ age for the post of Scientist Trainee should be less than or equal to 28 years as on 31 March 2012.
Relaxation in maximum age – Relaxation of 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST and Relaxation of 3 years for the candidates of OBC will be given.
Remuneration – Applicants who will be selected as Scientist Trainee will be paid Rs. 25,000/- per month and payment will be increased by 1000/- per month.
Educational Qualification – Applicants must have completed M.Sc. / M.Tech. / MS in the discipline of Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences , Chemistry, Ocean Sciences, Physics etc from any recognized university.
OR B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.E. / MS in discipline of Mechanical, Civil , Chemical, Electrical or Electronics from any recognized university.
Selection procedure – Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and as per performance in interview, applicants will be selected as Scientist Trainee.
