Special Recruitment drive for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) in SAIL – Bhilai Steel Plant Bhilai Steel Plant under SAIL invites application for the following non-executive posts :
Attendant-cum- Jr. Staff Assistant (Trainee) : 05 Posts in various disciplines, Pay Scale : Rs. Rs. 8630-3%-12080/-, Age : 18-38 years. Relaxation as per rules.
Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee : 10 Posts in various disciplines, Pay Scale : Rs. 8630 – 3% – 12080, Age : 18-38 years. Relaxation as per rules.
Application Fee : Rs. 50/- in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Steel Authority of India Ltd., Bhilai Steel Plant Payable at Bhilai.

General Instructions:
1 Vacancies are reserved for Disabled (Physically Challenged) Persons under Section 33 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights & Full Participation) Act, 1995 (1 of 1996).
2 The above posts carry benefits such as CPF, Gratuity, Industrial DA, Conveyance Allowance, free medical facility, LTC/LLTC etc. as admissible & as per the rules of the
company.
3 For the post of Attendant-cum-Jr.Staff Assistant (Trainee), applicants have to furnish a certificate regrading proficiency in MS Office package. Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements need not apply.
4 All candidates found eligible for the post of Attendant-cum-Jr. Staff Assistant (Trainee) shall have to appear for a Written Test (Objective type) the date, time and place of which will be intimated later on. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the Written Test,
5 Candidates appearing for Interview will be reimbursed travelling expenses to the extent of Second Class sleeper Rail fare by the shortest route on production of proof of journey performed.
6 The candidates employed in Govt. Department / PSU / Autonomous bodies must produce NOC at the time of Interview. In case, the candidate fails to produce the certificate his / her candidature will not be considered.
7 Attested / Self Attested Photocopies of all academic and professional qualifications, proof of Date of Birth (Matric/High School Certificate), Caste Certificate issued by a Revenue Officer
8 Upper age limit is further relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST (PH) candidates and 3 years for OBC (PH) candidates.
9 The OBC candidates who belong to “CREAMY LAYER” are not entitled for OBC concession and such candidates have to indicate their category as “General”. The OBC (non creamy layer)
10 For claiming the benefit admissible to PWDs under the Act, candidates are required to produce disability certificate issued by the Medical Board duly constituted by the State Govt./Central Govt. as per the provisions of Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation)
11 Envelope containing the application should be clearly superscribed ‘Application for the post of __________________.’
12 Candidature of a candidate is liable to be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process or after recruitment or joining, if any information provided by the candidate is found
13 Bringing influence at any stage of the selection process will disqualify the candidate.
14 SAIL/BSP reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards and / or relax age, experience criteria in otherwise suitable cases. The Management reserves the right to fill
